East Valley Chambers of Commerce Release Joint Legislative Agenda

The East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance (EVCCA) unveiled its 2024 Legislative Agenda to legislators and business leaders at a reception on December 7th, presented by SRP and hosted by Banner Gateway Medical Center.

The agenda outlines various issues that directly impact the ability of East Valley companies to grow their businesses, including priorities in

  • Economic Development,
  • Education,
  • Energy, Environment, and Land Management,
  • Government Processes and Election Reform,
  • Health Care,
  • Immigration,
  • Taxes,
  • Transportation, and
  • Workplace Policies and Tort Reform.

Established in 1999, the East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance (the Alliance) advocates as a united voice at the State and Federal levels and is represented by Dorn Policy Group, Inc. The EVCCA unifies more than 5,000 member firms across the region and represents the Apache Junction Area, Carefree Cave Creek, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale Area, and Tempe Chambers of Commerce.

The event also featured a federal update, presented by Jennings Imel, Vice President of the Western Region in the Government Affairs Departments at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Additional sponsorship was provided by Dignity Health, Meadows Bank, and Southwest Gas Corp.
