2026 Higley Unified School District Governing Board
The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting a strong, pro-business environment by equipping our members with meaningful, nonpartisan insights into candidates seeking public office. As part of the Chamber’s formal endorsement process, all eligible candidates were invited to participate in recorded interviews focused on issues that impact the business community, including economic development, workforce, and the overall business climate.
These interviews are reviewed and scored by business community stakeholders as part of the evaluation process. The Gilbert Chamber’s endorsements are nonpartisan and reflect a commitment to advancing policies and leadership that support a thriving business environment in Gilbert.
Each Gilbert Chamber member is eligible to submit an Evaluation Scorecard. Submissions are due by the close of business on September 14th via email to sarah@gilbertchamber.com.
NOTE: The Gilbert Chamber did not evaluate write-in candidates for the Higley Unified School District Governing Board because we do not currently have an established policy, process, or precedent for evaluating write-in candidates. To ensure consistency and fairness in our candidate review process, we limited this year’s evaluation to candidates who qualified for and appeared on the official ballot. Any future consideration of write-in candidates should be addressed through a formal policy established in advance of an election cycle.
