Sarah Watts Appointed Chair of Arizona Chamber Executives

Arizona Chamber Executives (ACE) announced today the appointment of Sarah Watts, CEO of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, as Chair for the organization’s upcoming one-year term.

Watts succeeds Michael Guymon, Chief Advocacy Officer of The Chamber of Southern Arizona, who served two consecutive terms after stepping in to fill a vacated seat, providing continuity and stability for the association.

The Chair role is a service position that works in partnership with the board and membership to support the organization’s mission.

Watts is an engaged and respected chamber professional with a strong passion for the industry and a commitment to collaboration among chambers statewide. She has worked on behalf of the Gilbert Chamber since 2008.

“I’m honored to serve as Chair of Arizona Chamber Executives,” said Watts. “This organization plays an important role in connecting chamber professionals and creating opportunities to learn from one another. I look forward to supporting that work and helping ensure our members feel informed, connected, and supported.”

Guymon's extended service helped maintain momentum during a leadership transition, and ACE expressed appreciation for his willingness to serve beyond the standard term.

Watts’ term will focus on supporting ACE’s ongoing efforts to provide meaningful connection, practical resources, and peer engagement for chamber professionals throughout Arizona.
