A recognition of impact, innovation, and community at the Business Solves Conference in Washington, D.C.
Being named a finalist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's prestigious *Citizen Awards* is an extraordinary accomplishment. As a finalist, this recognition affirms the positive impact the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Foundation has on our community, the innovative ways we solve pressing social challenges, and the dedication we hold to making a meaningful difference. Being among a select group of honorees across the nation is truly humbling and invigorates our commitment to the work we do each day.
The Citizen Awards, often described as the “Oscars” of corporate citizenship, highlight companies that exhibit excellence in social impact, sustainability, and overall business responsibility. To be recognized as a finalist is to join a legacy of businesses that prove every day that the power of commerce can transform society in profoundly positive ways.

The Business Solves Conference
The *Citizen Awards* are more than just accolades; they’re a gateway to the *Business Solves Conference*, held annually in Washington, D.C. Hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Business Solves is a gathering of business leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers who are committed to solving complex societal challenges through strategic corporate citizenship.
At the conference, participants have the opportunity to attend thought-provoking sessions, engage in powerful discussions, and learn from industry leaders about best practices in corporate social responsibility (CSR). It’s an environment rich with inspiration, collaboration, and shared commitment to the belief that business can and should be a force for good. For us, it’s a chance to connect with like-minded organizations and deepen our understanding of the ever-evolving landscape of business impact.
One of the most anticipated elements of the conference is the award ceremony, where Citizen Awards finalists gather to celebrate and honor those who have made an extraordinary difference. This year’s event highlighted some of the most innovative and impactful initiatives across industries, showcasing the remarkable achievements of businesses large and small.
This recognition is both a celebration of what we have achieved and a call to action for what lies ahead. We are incredibly honored to be recognized for the work we do, and it is with a sense of pride, gratitude, and renewed commitment that we approach the next chapter of our corporate responsibility journey.
Our sincerest thanks go out to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation for this incredible opportunity. We’re excited for the shared ideas, the new perspectives gained especially the fresh inspiration and innovative strategies for building a brighter future. As we continue on this path, we remain focused on our mission and ever more committed to the values that earned us this esteemed nomination.
While we didn’t win this year, being a runner up in the category of “Best Civic Engagement Program” to winner Microsoft, along with fellow finalist - the Citizen Travelers program, is a huge feat for us. To be in the company of such corporate giants is an honor and we are grateful for the recognition.
