A Heartwarming Success: The Gilbert Chamber’s Adopt-A-Senior Program

This holiday season, the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Foundation is proud to share the incredible success of our Adopt-A-Senior program, which made a real difference for seniors in our community. We ran the wish list program again this year, where we adopted 106 seniors in total from both Page Commons and the Gilbert Senior Center. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to bring some extra holiday cheer to many who needed it most.

In addition to the wish list program, we renamed our donation drive the Alma Riedel Holiday Donation Drive, in honor of a beloved member of our community. Through this drive, we received enough donations to create almost 100 special gifts and giveaways, which were distributed during our Holiday Breakfast event.

The Holiday Breakfast was a true celebration. Seniors enjoyed a delicious breakfast provided by the Gilbert Senior Center, and we were treated to a beautiful performance by the children’s choir from Gilbert Arts Academy. We are thrilled to report that 58 seniors attended this heartwarming event, and every single one left with something extra to brighten their holiday season. It was a morning full of joy and community spirit.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the success of this year’s Adopt-A-Senior program. Your generosity and support truly made a difference in the lives of our seniors. We look forward to continuing this tradition and spreading more holiday cheer in the years to come.

Thank you for helping us make this season brighter for so many in our community!
