What is A Civic Event?
A Civic Event is an experience that brings community members and neighbors together to connect over an important civic topic. Each event blends food, music, art, and structured dialogue, creating an environment where people can engage with ideas, share perspectives, and leave with a deeper sense of belonging. It’s about making civic engagement approachable, meaningful, and enjoyable, while also sparking conversations that shape the future of our community.
Featured Civic Message: First Things First
We are honored to welcome First Things First as our featured Civic Message speaker. First Things First is Arizona’s early childhood agency, dedicated to ensuring that children from birth to age five are ready for success in school and life. Their work highlights the powerful truth that strong, caring communities start by investing in our youngest residents and supporting families with the resources they need.
Through their message, attendees will gain insight into how communities can be both fair—providing equitable access to opportunity—and caring—ensuring no one is left behind.
