Reveal the Power of Collective Impact: Be Part of The Giving Tree

How much can we accomplish when community comes together around a shared purpose?

The Gilbert Chamber Foundation is proud to introduce The Giving Tree, a visual celebration of the individuals, businesses, and community champions who invest in the future of Gilbert. The Giving Tree represents a growing movement of people who believe in workforce development, education, leadership, and opportunities that strengthen our community for generations to come.

Imagine a student who has curiosity but little exposure to career opportunities.

As a high school student, they participate in our Foundation job shadowing experience, spending 16-20 hours with a local business leader. For the first time, they could envision a future career path.

That experience allowed them to connect with a mentor who encouraged them, helped them build confidence, and introduced them to the power of professional relationships.

Inspired to solve a problem they saw in their community, the student developed a business idea and entered the Student Entrepreneurs Academy. Through coaching, feedback, and public presentation experience, they learned how to communicate ideas, think strategically, and lead.

As graduation approached, the student received a Foundation scholarship, helping make higher education or career training attainable.

Today, that young person is pursuing their goals because a community of donors invested in them at each stage of their journey.

A leaf doesn't grow the tree alone. Neither does a single program change a life. It takes an entire ecosystem of support. Because of Foundation donors, students can explore careers, connect with mentors, launch innovative ideas, and pursue their education. Every gift helps grow the next generation of leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs in Gilbert.

Today, visitors will see a prototype of The Giving Tree displayed in our building. This initial version offers a glimpse into a much grander vision.

In September 2026, the Foundation will unveil a beautiful semi-permanent vinyl Giving Tree installation in the Chamber hallway. This lasting display will recognize the generosity of donors whose support nurtures the Foundation's programs and community impact.

Every donor will have a place on the tree based on their level of support:

• Leaf (Outline)
• Leaf (Green)
• Blossom
• Orange
• Trunk

Together, these elements create a powerful symbol of collective impact. Just as every part of a tree contributes to its growth and strength, every contribution helps the Foundation serve our community more effectively.

Donors who commit their support by August 15, 2026, will be recognized as part of the inaugural Giving Tree installation and included in the September unveiling.
