By Jim Bisceglie with the Gilbert Police Department
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to the Gilbert Chamber community. My name is Jim Bisceglie, and I serve as one of the Assistant Chiefs with the Gilbert Police Department. I am proud to work in Gilbert, a place my family and I also call home.
I have been with the Gilbert Police Department for the past four years, having previously worked in a city outside of Chicago, Illinois. In my current role, I have the privilege of collaborating with our public affairs and community engagement team. One of my primary goals in the upcoming months is to strengthen our relationships with the business community. These connections are essential for crime prevention and safety, economic vitality, emergency preparedness, community building, and, ultimately, the foundation for building trust with all of you.
I encourage all Chamber members to reach out to me at james.bisceglie@gilbertaz.gov if you have any questions about how we can partner together to continue making Gilbert a wonderful and prosperous community. Whether it's a simple conversation about site safety or an opportunity to collaborate on a community event, I am here to connect and work together.
I want to express my gratitude to Sarah Watts for allowing me to contribute to a regular post in the Chamber newsletter. I am also open to addressing any issues or concerns that the business community may have. Please feel free to reach out to me with any topic suggestions, thoughts, or ideas. As we approach the holiday season, I encourage everyone to stay safe and enjoy quality time with family and loved ones.
