The future of our business community is being shaped by the young professionals who are stepping up, getting involved, and building meaningful connections—and the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce is creating a space for them to do just that.
Gilbert Young Professionals (GYP) is a dynamic network of emerging leaders and rising professionals committed to growing their careers, expanding their influence, and making meaningful connections. Designed for individuals in the early to mid-stages of their professional journey (typically between the ages of 21 and 39), GYP provides opportunities to network with peers, engage with community and business leaders, and develop critical skills through educational workshops, social events, and community volunteering.
Building on the momentum from last year's programming, GYP has plans to deliver 8 events to the young professionals community this year. Event attendees can look forward to a mix of social gatherings and interactive experiences to opportunities to connect with fellow professionals and the broader business community. Each event will provide a chance to meet new people, build relationships, and grow both personally and professionally.
Whether you’re new to the business community, growing your career, building a business, or simply looking for a great network of like-minded professionals for you or your team, there’s a place for you in GYP.

As we enter our second year, we’re also looking to expand the Young Professionals Committee. We want this program to reflect the interests, ideas, and needs of the young professionals it serves—and that means we need more voices at the table.
Committee members will have the opportunity to help shape future events, bring new ideas to the group, encourage participation, and play an active role in creating a community where young professionals can connect and thrive.
