The Gilbert Chamber Foundation is organizing the 17th Annual Adopt-A-Senior program this holiday season to benefit Gilbert’s low-income senior citizens and disabled Gilbert residents, in partnership with the Gilbert Senior Center (AZCEND) and Mercy Housing Arizona, Page Commons senior housing.
The Adopt-A-Senior program fulfills personalized wish lists and hosts a cheerful Holiday Breakfast Celebration at the Gilbert Senior Center. The event will feature entertainment from Gilbert Arts Academy, handcrafted cards from Gilbert Elementary School students, and festive giveaways and goodie bags for every senior in attendance.
This year’s program is made possible through the generosity of local sponsors and partners. DeBellevue Global Marketing Agency and Senior Helpers of Chandler-Gilbert are sponsoring the Alma Riedel Holiday Donation Drive, while Newman Realty Team Powered by Realty One Group and All About You Placement and Senior Resources are sponsoring the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Annual Holiday Party. Proceeds from the Holiday Party will help fund the seniors’ holiday breakfast celebration.
The Gilbert Chamber Foundation is currently collecting donations for raffle giveaways and gift bags through the Alma Riedel Holiday Donation Drive. Donations may be dropped off now through Thursday, December 4th, at the Gilbert Chamber office.
