The East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance (EVCCA) is proud to announce the release of its 2026 Legislative Priorities, a comprehensive agenda that outlines key policy positions impacting the business community across the East Valley.
Representing more than 5,000 member businesses, EVCCA serves as a unified voice for employers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders across our region. This legislative priorities document reflects months of collaboration, thoughtful analysis, and consensus-building among East Valley chambers to ensure that the perspectives of local businesses are clearly articulated at the state and federal levels.
The 2026 Legislative Priorities address a wide range of issues critical to Arizona’s economic vitality, including:
- Economic development and job creation
- Education and workforce development (P-12 and post-secondary)
- Employer policies and tort reform
- Energy, environment, and land management
- Government processes, taxes, transportation, healthcare, and immigration
Together, these priorities advocate for balanced, forward-looking policies that support innovation, fiscal responsibility, infrastructure investment, workforce readiness, and a competitive business climate.
In December, these priorities were formally presented to state legislators during a legislative breakfast hosted by the EVCCA. The event provided an opportunity for lawmakers to hear directly from East Valley business leaders about the policies that matter most to employers and the communities they serve. This direct engagement reinforces EVCCA’s commitment to constructive dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy on behalf of the region’s business community.
The release of the 2026 Legislative Priorities marks an important step as we look ahead to the upcoming legislative session. EVCCA and its member chambers will continue to actively engage with policymakers, share insights from the business community, and advocate for policies that strengthen the East Valley’s economy and quality of life.
