Partners In Progress Business Retention and Expansion
The Gilbert Chamber Foundation works in partnership with the Town of Gilbert's Office of Economic Development, the Office of the Mayor, Development Services, and others to support the community's overall business retention and expansion efforts. These efforts include:
Gilbert Business Walks
A Business Walk is a morning dedicated to learning more about the local business community through face-to-face interviews and conversations. Elected officials, local business owners, and community stakeholders walk from business to business asking conversationally structured questions. In just a few short hours, hundreds of businesses can be reached and key data can be collected about the needs of our local business community.
Gilbert Manufacturers Council
This council serves as a unified voice of local-area manufacturers and invested parties for the purpose of identifying common issues and working together to find solutions. Areas of focus include Workforce Development, Logistics, Capital, and Government Policy and Regulation.
Mayor's Economic Forecast and Red Carpet Tour
Attendees hear from the the Town Mayor, staff, and/or leadership about our community’s master plan and economic state as well as the projections for our town’s development. Following the Economic Forecast, attendees board tour buses for an inside-look at local business and industry.
Mayor's Executive Roundtable Meetings
These discussions with local businesses representing various industry sectors help the Town and Chamber gain insight as to how the community can best support local business growth and retention.
