Stock the Classroom Drive

Did you know 94% of teachers dip into their own wallets to the tune of nearly $500 on average*, to provide school supplies for their classrooms? Teachers and schools are working harder than ever to support students and meet the needs of the community.

For Our Town Gilbert is made up of a collaborative group of nonprofits, faith-based organizations, businesses, and the local government who come together and tackle needs in the community. Tapping into the silos of good in Gilbert bridging people and resources.

Their Stock the Classroom Drive will support schools in the Gilbert and Higley School Districts that are identified as high-needs schools with supplies that they have listed as their most needed school supplies.

They are looking for local Gilbert businesses and groups to be host locations for this school supply drive. Will you help?!

Helping out is easy! Follow these steps:

  1. Complete this form with your organization's information so we can publish your location as a drop-off location.
  2. Create your own donation bin or box (anything will do!) you can use the attached flyer to decorate.
  3. Let your community know! Send out emails or social media posts. Consider offering an incentive for bringing in donations!
  4. All donations will taken to a main drop off location between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
