Event: Business Leadership Breakfast
Date: Thursday, August 15, 2019; 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
District: Gilbert Public Schools; Gilbert Education Foundation
Invite: Join GPS and GEF for a Business Leadership Breakfast featuring discussion on upcoming Bond/Override for GPS Schools, presented by Dr. Shane McCord. Event is free and includes breakfast.

Event: Student Job Fair
Date: Thursday, August 29th
School: Benedictine University Mesa
Need: The Career Success Office at Benedictine University Mesa will be hosting our Student Job Fair on Thursday, August 29th, from 11:30am – 1:30pm! We would like to invite you to have a table during this fair in order to share job opportunities with our talented pool of current students.
The Student Job Fair is an integral part of our Welcome Week for the fall semester. It will take place at Benedictine University – Gillett Hall, located at 225 E. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85201. Representative set-up will begin at 11am. The fair will begin at 11:30am and run until 1:30pm. Breakdown will immediately follow at 1:30pm. If you would like to register for the Student Job Fair, please do so by Wednesday, August 21st.

Event: Annual College Night of Browsing
Date: September 19th
District: Higley Unified School District
Teacher: Mary Buscema
Need: Showcase your educational programs, technical training, or career opportunities at this district-wide event on Thursday, September 19th from 6 PM to 8 PM. This event is open to the public and several hundred attendees are expected.

Class: Business & Entrepreneurship
Date: Ongoing
School: American Leadership Academy
Teacher: Tim Stricklan
Need: Entrepreneurs to serve as guest speakers. Date and time of visit to be coordinated directly with the teacher.

Class: Freshman Career Exploration
Date: Ongoing; Fridays from 1:20 PM to 2:25 PM
School: Williams Field High School
Teacher: Russell Moss
Need: During this semester we will explore many different career clusters and well as specific jobs. Last year I had many guest speakers come in and talk about their careers, how they got there, what they do daily, and answer questions.
